Sports Notable Moments ("we", "us") publishes daily sports highlights. This page explains what little data we handle, why, and who you can contact about it.

Information we collect

• Email address: when you subscribe, we store the email address you provide to send the daily digest and, occasionally, updates about our own products and services. We never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. We send a one-time confirmation link before adding it to the list, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. We do not require an account, password, or any other personal information to subscribe.
• Basic server logs: like most web hosts, our infrastructure (Fly.io) automatically logs standard technical data (IP address, request time, page requested) for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We do not use this data for tracking or advertising.
• Bot protection (if enabled): on some forms we use ALTCHA, a self-hosted, open-source proof-of-work check that runs entirely on our own servers. It does not send any data to a third party, use cookies, or fingerprint your browser.

What we don't do

• We do not require user accounts or logins.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.
• We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site today.

If that changes (for example, if we enable Google AdSense in the future), this page will be updated first, and any ad provider's own cookies/tracking would be governed by that provider's privacy policy (e.g. Google's).

Our use of Instagram / Meta

We operate a public Instagram account to share highlight cards from this site. Posting to Instagram is one-directional — we publish content from our own account; we do not use Instagram Login or collect any data about Instagram users through this site. Interacting with our Instagram profile itself (following, commenting, liking) is governed by Instagram/Meta's own privacy policy, not this one.

Data retention and removal

Every digest email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that immediately stops future emails. Your address stays in our database (so we don't accidentally re-add it) unless you request full deletion — contact us at the address below and we'll remove it promptly.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
